This course is suitable for anyone with responsibility for recruiting and managing apprentices in the workplace, such as managers, supervisors and your in-house HR team.
To gain an understanding of the different types of arrangements when recruiting an apprentice and the knowledge to ensure you have the correct documentation in place to be legally compliant with current employment laws.
Delegates will have the knowledge and understanding to recruit an apprentice under the terms of an apprenticeship agreement compliant with the apprenticeship standards. They will also understand what documentation must be in place along with the minimum legal requirements relating to national minimum wage, working/training hours and holiday entitlement and pay.
How long is the course and how is it delivered?
We offer both half day (up to 3 hours) and full day (up to 6 hours) training sessions. We can deliver training sessions at your premises, an off-site location or at NFU Headquarters in Warwickshire (CV8 2TZ). We can also deliver remote training sessions. Courses can be arranged in small groups or on a one-to-one basis.
