This course is suitable for anyone with responsibility for managing employees and sickness absence in the workplace, such as managers, supervisors and your in-house HR team.
To understand when sickness absence in the workplace should be managed as part of a formal process. To be able to manage the sickness absence sensitively, fairly and consistently.
Delegates will be able to manage sickness absence with an understanding of current employment law and in line with best practice process. They will gain experience, knowledge and understanding regarding the value of conducting consistent and fair procedures. It will provide them with the skills and knowledge needed to manage sickness absence in the workplace.
We offer both half day (up to 3 hours) and full day (up to 6 hours) training sessions. We can deliver training sessions at your premises, an off-site location or at NFU Headquarters in Warwickshire (CV8 2TZ). We can also deliver remote training sessions.
