Annual increase in statutory employment rates

Between 1- 7 April 2024 is when the annual increase in statutory employment rates take effect including national minimum wage (NMW) and the family friendly benefits. We have listed these below but a point to highlight is the National Living Wage rate now applies to workers ages 21 and over (previously applying to those aged 23 and over).

It is essential that you review your workers’ pay and increase where necessary to ensure compliance with national minimum wage legislation.
